Accessibility
We want everyone who visits our website to find the experience rewarding and informative.
That’s why, at the Global Centre for Modern Ageing® (GCMA), we’re continuously improving our site’s user experience, and applying the relevant accessibility standards, to ensure our content is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology.
What are we doing?
We’ve been applying the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 to improve accessibility for individuals with disabilities. These Guidelines define three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. The GCMA is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet conform to the ‘AA’ accessibility standard.
We continuously monitor our site for accessibility issues, and are working hard to achieve conformance to the Level AA standard of accessibility.
