  • Chair

    Angus has 25 years of experience in major corporates, top-tier management consulting and start-ups.

    Angus was a Partner at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he founded and ran the Perth office. He led the Operations Practice in Australia and consulted across a wide variety of industries all across the globe.

    He was an Executive at Santos for seven years where he helped build and implement the strategy to transform the company in 2016, founded the Energy Solutions business, was the Chief People Officer and ran three successful post-merger-integrations.

    Angus also has a track record in small businesses and start-ups. He was a Partner in Azure Consulting, a successful boutique management consultancy start-up in Perth; and is the co-founder chair of Scotch Enterprises, an educational start-up with two schools in Vietnam and a growing childcare business in South Australia.

    Ms. Lewis is a professional Company Director with over 30 years of experience and a successful commercialisation track record of success as a director, CEO and founder in the digital, medtech, biotech, retail, franchising, health and aged care  sectors.

    As a strategic futurist and start up entrepreneur, Philippa has founded multiple companies, led local and North American IPOs, reverse mergers, complex M&A transactions, raised and managed strategic capital for private and listed entities and has led multilateral joint ventures within North America, Europe and China.

    She currently serves on several boards as Non-Executive Chair of Imunexus Therapeutics Ltd; a public unlisted company in the oncology therapeutics sector; Aquitas Pty Ltd, a privately owned residential aged care M&A consolidation and Halo Technologies, a fintech public unlisted company listing on the ASX in early 2022. 

    Ms Lewis has acted as a Chair of EZZ Life Science (ASX: EZZ), a company that develops and manufactures healthcare products; An ASX and TSV listed MedTech company Simavita Ltd (ASX: SVA) between 2008 and 2016. She also chaired the board of Lifespot Health Ltd (ASX: LSH) and was chair and founder of Karista from 2016 - 2018, a private company servicing the aged, disability and community care sectors through a bespoke digital consumer choice platform.

    She has served as a non-executive director of the Medical Technology Association of Australia and holds a number of advisory and mentoring roles with SME boards and CEOs.

    Ms. Lewis has been engaged in government projects, funding and grants. 

    Ms. Lewis is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Institute of Arbitration and Mediation and has completed Public Company Directors and Chair course as well as the Public Company Directors certificate from Simon Fraser University. She has been nominated as Zurich Business Leader of the Year and Telstra Business Woman of the Year.

  • Arthur Koumoukelis, partner of Thomson Geer, has specialised in the aged care and retirement living sector since 1995 and been consistently awarded Best Lawyer since 2012.

    Holding law and accounting qualifications, he advises on corporate structures, governance, operations and developments. Arthur's career included as a litigator appearing in major courts and Tribunals affecting the industry.

    He has acted in major court decisions and landmark developments including Grandton Applecross Perth, The Kokoda Residences, Hyegrove Developments, Mark Moran Vaucluse and Watermark Harbord Diggers.

    He has developed financial products for the industry and has advised parties in Malaysia and Singapore in investing in the communities. He has applied his industry, legal and business acumen as a director of charities and provider organisations.

    He sits as a member of the NSW Law Society and Law Council of Australia's elder law committees and Property Council committees in the sector.
